Agenda

Post-conference Workshop A – 2nd February 2023

AI & MACHINE LEARNING; PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE AND DATA INTEGRATION

What's new with AI and machine learning: predictive maintenance; and integration of data that is not coherent or readily accessible, to enable the use of software?

This workshop will cover two topics. The workshop will begin with the early detection of equipment failures using AI, Machine learning, and even fluid analysis to reduce random productivity and profit loss. The workshop's focus will then shift to understanding how to integrate data in a way that empowers companies to use newer, more advanced software, as data integration is a massive barrier to adopting new technologies.

This workshop will focus on:

  1. Providing a deeper dive into the details of predictive maintenance
    1. Exploring different predictive maintenance tools
    2. Understanding the specificities of how they function
    3. Success stories with predictive maintenance
  2. Analyzing how much data-integration issues hold companies back from increasing productivity and profits
    1. Investigating solutions to data-integration issues
    2. Evaluating these solutions to narrow down the range of options to choose from

Timetable

08:45 - 09:15 Introduction and objective exploration session, led by the workshop leader

09:15 - 10:00 Predictive maintenance: understanding how the technology operates

10:00 – 10:30 Coffee and networking break

10:35 – 11:15 Predictive maintenance: assessing real-world examples

11:15 – 12:15 Data integration: unpacking and hierarchizing solutions

12:15 – 12:40 Key takeaways

12:40- 13:30 Extended question and discussion, and sharing viewpoints

13:30 Close of morning workshop

Post-conference Workshop B– 2nd February 2023

ROBOTICS AND THE WORKFORCE- A DEEP DIVE

Understanding how robotics can be used to minimize the number of personnel needed at the well site.

We are maximizing productivity while minimizing human input. How far can automation go in supporting this process? What is the predicted timescale? And will this solve industry-wide labor shortages.?

This workshop will focus on :

  1. Partially automated well site models
  2. Fully remote (entirely mechanical) wellsite models
  3. The future timescale for unmonitored mechanical well site models

Timetable

13:45 - 14:30 Introduction and objective exploration session, led by the workshop leader

14:30 - 15:15 Guidance on partial automation

15:15 – 15:45 Coffee and networking break

15:45 – 16:30 Remote wellsite operations: conceptual and practical approaches

16:30 – 17:15 Expected technological advances in unmanned well-site technology: in the near and far future

17:15 – 17:40 Key takeaway information

17:40- 18:30 Extended question and discussion, and sharing viewpoints

18:30 Close of afternoon workshop
