Vesta Energy
Manuel immigrated from Switzerland to small town Alberta in 1997. His father runs a small 560-acre beef and grain operation. He worked odd jobs in agriculture, powerline construction and heavy-duty mechanics growing up. He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, got into the oil patch on the production side (operating wells), and did a short stint in Calgary as an exploitation engineering intern.
He moved to Grande Prairie after school and started with Aztec Engineering. They built a lot of pads and pipelines in the Montney Gas field for seven generations. He then moved to take on the Vesta Energy Facilities Engineering role in 2019.
He married in 2020 and has 3 wonderful children at home – Emmy, 2 and the twins are 7 months old now.
